DDSP General: Users with Access to Multiple Facilities
Users of the Direct Data Submission Platform may be invited to multiple facility Workspaces. Once the user has accepted the invitation to each facility, they are able to switch between the HCOs while logged in - there is no need to log out and back in. A user should create one account and remain logged in under the same username/password when accepting invitations to other facilities.
A user with the ‘Manage & Invite User' permission must invite the User to their organization’s Workspace; this individual will manage the User's permissions within the Workspace.
A User with access to multiple organizations may have any combination of user permissions across the different Workspaces.
For example, a User has access to 10 organizations.
The User will receive ten individual emails, each one inviting them to a different organization Workspace.
Depending on how the organizations are structured, the User will need to work with up to ten different users with 'Manage & Invite User' permission.
Note: Users with access to multiple facilities should always check the Header of the page to ensure they are “active” for the desired organization. If the correct organization is not “active”, click on the “Switch” button in the Header and choose the appropriate organization. The 'Switch' button is available from all pages within the DDSP.
If you do not see a “Switch” button in the Header, you only have access to the organization that appears in the Header. If you believe you should have access to another organization, contact an individual with Invite and Manage User permission for the organization you wish to have access to, as only they may invite you to be a user for that organization.
Switch HCO Button
Users with access to multiple organizations will see the Switch HCO button on the Home Page.
The organizations that are available are based on the DDSP status of the organization, the User's Permissions for the specific organization and the DDSP page you execute the Switch HCO command on.
When the User executes the Switch HCO, the following organizations will appear:
Home Page: All Active* organizations for which the User has accepted an invitation
Invite & Manage Users page: Only Active* organizations where the user has Security Administrator permission
Chart-Abstracted Measure Submission page: Only those Active* organizations where the user has CAM permissions (Full or View-Only).
eCQM Submission page: Only those Active* organizations where the user has eCQM permissions (Full or View-Only).
*Active organizations are those organizations for which the HCO Agreement has been signed by the Signature Authority and the organization has not been Inactivated by The Joint Commission.
